We think that buying a pre-existing silver bra like this one for $25.00 (the cup sizes are in Australian measurements, so make sure to check the size chart) or taking a regular white bra and covering the cup in fabric paint like Lumiere (available in silver for just over $5 from this store) is going to be your best bet. The paint will harden, which will make the cup more metallic in appearance. The straps can be achieved by taking the same fabric you used for the gauntlets and sewing it to the existing bra straps. We couldn’t find any pre-existing sandals that had thick enough laces, but you can  make them, if you want. First, find a pair of brown gladiator sandals that are comfortable for you. From there, you can cut long strips from some more of the gauntlet fabric and sew it on to the ankle of the sandals.Hope that helps you out, and good luck!

We embody the utterly complex mixture of nerd culture and creative aesthetic. We're now turning these two characteristics into something fun and productive. We live by the phrase "Affordable Accuracy." If we cant afford or find the original item, we do our best to re-create it. This blog not only documents our own costume creations, but we'll also be glad to assist you in your endeavors as much as we can. In between our own projects and lending support, we also post outfit designs and ideas via Polyvore in hopes of giving you some inspiration.
